Five years is a long time to spend exploring the far reaches of space. Few Captains are worthy of the task, but both Captain James T. Kirk and his stalwart ship, the U.S.S. Enterprise, were probably paired to boldly go where no other man has gone before. On a mission such as this anything was liable to happen. When it did, the epicenter was the bridge where Kirk’s loyal crew controlled every aspect of the ship. When trouble is encountered in the dark vastness of space, there truly is no better place to be.
