DESCRIPTION: As the muscle car wars heated up, Plymouth unleased the Plymouth GTX in the mid-sized intermediate field. Based on the Plymouth Belvedere, the Plymouth GTX rose to the top. The upgrades included heavy duty suspension, twin hood scoops and the 426 c.i. HEMI engine option. It had style and performance, 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds.
