DESCRIPTION: In the mid 1950’s Chevy introduced their new overhead valve V-8 engine commonly eferred to as the “small block” Chevy. These ’55-’57 equipped cars have become known as the “Tri-Chevys”. The 1957 is the most popular of then all. The Bel Air versions was the top of the line with extra features and trim that set it apart. The rear tail fins were a styling trend that celebrated the jet age.
