Larry Talbot is a cursed man. He returns to his hometown in Wales to mend his relationship with his estranged father, but his attention quickly turns to the lovely Gwen Conliffe. The two visit a local gypsy carnival, after which Larry is savagely attacked by a viscious wolf…or was it a man? The bite of the beast leaves Larry plagued by nightmares and episodes of blackout.

Gypsy fortuneteller, Maleva, warns that Larry now becomes a wolf when the moon is full, and he will seek to kill the thing he loves best–Gwen!
