Surviving their supposed demise 30 years earlier,  Andoheb the High Priest explains the legend of the Egyptian Mummy Kharis to his follower, Mehemet Bey. Instructing Mehemet on the use of the ancient Tana leaves to restore movement to the Mummy, Andoheb assigns him the task of terminating the remaining members of the Banning Archaeologist Expedition and their descendants. The ancient Mummy is then transported from his homeland to the USA to wreak vengeance on the family who has defiled the sacred tomb of his beloved Princess Ananka.
